Publications
During my time at TIVOL, I had the opportunity to work on the company's magazine, which was produced in collaboration with a publishing company for almost a decade. I was fortunate to have been involved in many of these publications, and with each issue, my responsibilities increased. Initially, I worked alongside a freelance graphic designer to support the project. However, by 2020, when we brought the work in-house, I had assumed the role of Creative Director and was leading the production for several on and off-site photoshoots. Additionally, I contributed written content to the magazine on multiple occasions.
Working on the magazine was one of the most fulfilling projects I worked on while at TIVOL. The team's excitement was palpable during each launch, and it was rewarding to see our hard work come to fruition. It was a collaborative effort that involved everyone across many teams, and I am proud to have been a part of it.

As a store located on the Country Club Plaza, foot traffic was a crucial factor in our success. However, the Plaza faced a challenging period that resulted in fewer shoppers. To address this, we had to be innovative and find ways to make our storefront more attractive to potential customers. In 2019, we came up with an abstract paint themed takeover leading up to the Plaza Art Fair. The concept received positive feedback from many customers, some even posed in front of the store for photos, resulting in increased sales during the event compared to the previous year.
In 2020, amidst the challenges posed by the pandemic, we aimed to bring some cheer to the holiday season and make TIVOL a bright spot for customers. We transformed our storefront by wrapping our arch with red translucent cling film that allowed our lights to shine through at night and topped it off with a green bow. Inspired by our holiday card, we designed geometric prints on the remaining windows. These efforts helped to attract more customers during the holiday season and create a festive atmosphere on the Plaza. |
AdvertisementsDuring my time at TIVOL, one of my primary responsibilities was creating advertisements. This involved collaborating with the ownership and buying teams to determine the messaging and target audience for each campaign. From there, I worked with photographers to source or create images that would bring the concept to life in a visually compelling way.
In addition to creating advertisements for TIVOL, I also worked on creating ads for select vendors. This was a particularly enjoyable and challenging aspect of my role, as I needed to ensure that the advertisements aligned with both TIVOL's brand guidelines and the vendor's branding. Despite the complexity of this task, I was able to consistently deliver high-quality ads that effectively showcased the products and values of each brand. |
